HITAP's Health Technology Assessment Process Guidelines
Health technology assessment (HTA) is internationally acknowledged as a pivotal tool in resource allocation for all health administrators and practitioners to solve a country’s health problems. To gain buy-ins for HTA in informing decision making, good governance is an important factor. For that matter, process guidelines will be valuable.
This document describes the proposed health technology assessment (HTA) process guidelines for use at the Health Intervention and Technology Assessment Program (HITAP). The document is also expected to guide other organizations conducting HTA research for the National List of Essential Medicines in Thailand.
